Sustainable Agriculture, Powered by Bioconversion

We turn organic waste into premium organic fertilizer and high-protein insect feed — helping Malaysian growers rebuild soil health while cutting input costs.

Two Products, One Circular Process

A single bioconversion process yields two commercially distinct outputs. Black soldier fly larvae consume organic waste and convert it into concentrated insect protein, while the residue they leave behind becomes a nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. Nothing is wasted, and both outputs address real cost pressures for Malaysian agriculture.

Organic Fertilizer

Produced from black soldier fly frass through controlled high-temperature fermentation. Organic matter of at least 30 percent, total nutrients of at least 4 percent, manufactured to standard NY/T 525-2021. Rebuilds soil structure, relieves compaction and reduces long-term chemical dependency.

Insect Protein Feed

Dried black soldier fly larvae containing 17 amino acids, antimicrobial peptides, trace elements and minerals. Substitutes 20 to 30 percent of the fishmeal or soybean protein in compound feed for aquaculture, poultry, livestock and premium pet food.

Technology

Fully Enclosed. Comprehensively Deodorised.

The first objection anyone raises about processing organic waste is odour, and it is a fair one. Our production is fully enclosed and self-contained, with a comprehensive deodorisation and air-handling system. This is what allows bioconversion to operate at commercial scale near communities rather than in isolation, and it is a deliberate design decision rather than an afterthought.

  • Enclosed, self-contained production environment
  • Comprehensive deodorisation and air handling
  • Controlled conditions, independent of weather
  • Hygienic processing and consistent output quality

Where Artificial Intelligence Actually Helps

Terbit applies artificial intelligence to three specific problems where it produces measurable answers rather than marketing claims.

Soil Analysis and Dosage Recommendation

We analyse soil condition and recommend the fertilizer quantity a specific plot actually requires, rather than applying a uniform rate across an entire holding.

Crop, Soil and Fertilizer Matching

We recommend the combination suited to your crop and soil, then monitor continuously through the season and adjust as conditions change.

Carbon Credit Yield and Monetisation

We quantify the emissions avoided by diverting organic waste from landfill, and help convert that into a verifiable, tradeable position.

From Waste Stream to Revenue Stream

Organic waste sent to landfill decomposes without oxygen and releases methane, a greenhouse gas substantially more potent than carbon dioxide over a twenty-year horizon. Diverting that material into bioconversion avoids those emissions and produces two saleable outputs instead. For plantation owners and corporate waste producers under increasing pressure to report Scope 3 emissions, this turns a disposal cost into both a product and a credential.

Who We Supply

Our outputs serve distinct markets, each with different specifications and volumes.

Crops and Plantations

Crops and Plantations

Oil palm (sawit), fruit trees including durian, leafy vegetables, chillies, medicinal herbs, flowers and aquatic plants.

Aquaculture

Aquaculture

Fish (ikan), shrimp (udang) and crabs, where antimicrobial peptides support disease resistance alongside protein substitution.

Poultry and Livestock

Poultry and Livestock

Chickens (ayam), ducks and other livestock (ternakan), where palatability and calcium content are commercially significant.

Premium Pet Food

Premium Pet Food

Cats, dogs, reptiles and birds, a segment where insect protein commands a genuine premium.
